F1rst move is a privately owned independent property company specialising in residential lettings and property management.
We are proud to offer a high quality and professional service, rarely matched by other agents. What sets f1rst move apart from other agents is the wealth of experience, hands on approach and a personal touch that makes us treat every property as if it were our own.
F1rst move was established by Directors, Josh Jeffries and James Flanagan after becoming increasingly frustrated by the service received from the letting agents managing their own portfolio. They have built up a large property portfolio themselves and they have over 40 years combined experience within the property sector. They have a vast amount of knowledge and can provide advice on many aspects within the property market.
F1rst move can tailor a service around a landlords specific needs and feel we can offer exactly what a landlord is looking for from their managing agent.
Our offices are located in Chippenham, Wiltshire and Melksham, Wiltshire and our dedicated team aim to provide a first class service that is second to none.
Having previously worked as a bank manager at HSBC, Josh now oversees all aspects of f1rst move. Josh spends his time building relationships with landlords and trying to ensure that their property is working effectively. As well as this Josh spends a lot of time property sourcing, whether it be for investors, or his and James’ personal portfolio. Josh has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the property and lettings industry, after successfully building a vast portfolio over the last 20 years or so.
Having previously worked as an Operations Manager/Portfoilio Manager at BT, James now spends his time managing the refurbishment and maintenance side of f1rst move. James has a hands on approach to this area of business and attends site on a daily basis. James has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the property and lettings industry, after building up a vast portfolio over the last 20 years or so.
Steve has been with F1rst Move from the start. Having previously worked as a portfolio manager for a national property management company, Steve now manages the letting side of f1rst move. Steve brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience of property management and a fantastic legal knowledge. Steve works closely with all landlords and tenants ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently
Kelly joined the f1rst move team in 2016. After successfully running the lettings team of one of the other agents within the area, Kelly brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in the local lettings market. Kelly works closely with all landlords and tenants, building relationships in order to make sure their experience with f1rst move is second to none.
After working at one of the other local agents for many years, Harriet brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience within the local property market. An experienced administrator, Harriet liaises between the staff, tenants, landlords and contractors and helps make sure all process’ run smoothly and efficiently.
Rebecca has been involved in a wide range of roles within the property sector, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge within the property market. A well organised multi tasker, Rebecca liaises between the staff, tenants, landlords and contractors and helps make sure all process’ run smoothly and efficiently.
Kirsty joined our team in 2022. Having worked locally in the hospitality sector for many years, Kirsty brings valuable experience and knowledge to the team. Kirsty liaises between staff, tenants, landlords and contractors and helps make sure all process’ runs smoothly and efficiently.
